Well, well! Oundle wellbeing festival does it differently
Oundle is to host its own extraordinary wellness event next month, where some of the leading international figures in the fields of holistic health will share knowledge and provide hands-on workshops.
Physis – hosted by Octopus Psychology – is a one day festival which brings together an impressive cast of clinical psychologists, GPs, somatic coaches, hypnotherapists, filmmakers and behaviourists to take a holistic look at wellbeing. As well as enjoying a series of workshops, talks and practical sessions, delegates have the chance to try out some of the amazing technologies in immersive 360 degree visualisation, NeurOptimal and Roshiwave brain training.
Amongst the highlights, TV’s Leon Towers will explain how dogs live ‘in the present’ without spite or revenge, and what that can teach us about how to live more healthily.
Award winning journalist, film maker and hypnotherapist Laura Dodsworth will lead a live group hypnotherapy session exploring how to cope with anxiety and settle a racing mind.
GP and strength coach, Dr Lynette Ewart, will challenge outdated assumptions about health and longevity — and exploring how strength, movement, nutrition and mindset combine to shape how well we age.
There are talks on understanding the manosphere, family constellations and shamanic healing, and practical somatic yoga sessions.
Delegate places are strictly limited for this one day event and the festival organisers expect the tickets to sell quickly. Early bird tickets and full details of the event, which takes place at The Talbot Hotel on Sunday 18th October, are available at the Physis website www.physisoundle.com
